APOLLO AMATEUR NIGHT ASIA 2021 開催延期のお知らせ
ニューヨークのアポロシアターと吉本興業の提携により、開催を発表しておりました「APOLLO AMATEUR NIGHT ASIA 2021」ですが、コロナウィルス感染拡大の収束目処が立たないため、開催を延期することにいたしました。
昨年コロナウィルス感染拡大の影響で延期をしておりました「APOLLO AMATEUR NIGHT ASIA 2020」から約1年、感染収束を願って2021年中の開催を目標に調整を進めておりましたが、ワクチンの普及など収束の兆しは見えてきたものの、残念ながらいまだ安全に海外渡航ができる状況ではなく、国内の感染収束もめどが立たない状況であります。
お客様が大きな歓声を上げて出場者を採点するというアマチュアナイトのフォーマットを実現するには厳しい状況であること、そして出場者と観客の皆様が安心してパフォーマンスを披露し、応援できる環境ではないことなどを考慮し、延期することを決定させて頂きました。
最後に、新型コロナウィルスの感染拡大により影響を受けられた皆様に、心よりお見舞い申し上げます。そして一日も早い事態の収束と皆様の健康を心よりお祈り申し上げます。
APOLLO AMATEUR NIGHT ASIA 2021 postponed
APOLLO AMATEUR NIGHT ASIA 2021, which was previously announced as a partnership between the Apollo Theater in New York and Yoshimoto Kogyo, has been postponed due to the continuing covid 19 pandemic.
It has been almost a year since the APOLLO AMATEUR NIGHT ASIA 2020 was postponed due to the spread of the coronavirus last year, and we have been making arrangements to hold the event in 2021 in the hope that the infection will be contained. Although there are signs that the pandemic will be under control in the near future with the vaccines, it is still not safe to travel abroad. The circumstances are still serious in Japan.
We have decided to postpone the event due to the difficult conditions for the format of the Amateur Night, where the audience cheer loudly and score the contestants, and the environment is not safe for the contestants and the audience to perform and cheer.
Finally, we would like to express our deepest sympathies to all those affected by the pandemic. We wish for a speedy recovery and good health to all.
